Gerald Harper, Ph.D., P.Eng (ON.), P.Geo.(ON.) – President & CEO, Director

Dr. Harper is President of Gamah International Limited, a mineral industry consulting firm which is well known for its research and databases on mineral industry financings. He was President of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada from 1998 to 2000 and still represents the Association on several committees. He is a past Chairman of the Kingsway Chapter of Professional Engineers Ontario. He is/was a Director of several private and public exploration and mining companies including NWM Mining Corporation (NWM-TSX-V), African Metals Corporation (AFR – TSX-V), Mustang Minerals Corp., (MUM-TSX-V) and  Aurania Resources Ltd (ARU – TSX-V).

Until June 2009 Gerald Harper was Senior Vice President, Exploration of Western Prospector Group Ltd, a job which kept him busy commuting between Toronto, Vancouver, Ulaanbaatar and the Gurvanbulag mine site in eastern Mongolia which he and Kenneth de Graaf rediscovered. The Gurvanbulag uranium deposit, previously explored by the Russians, has the potential to be Mongolia’s first uranium mine. On June 28th 2009 a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation made a successful takeover bid for control of the company. He was a founder (in 2007) and until he left Mongolia, the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mineral Industry Safety Association of Mongolia.

His discoveries include the Current Lake Platinum deposit (>700,000 ozs) and the Mayville nickel copper deposit.

He grew up in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and worked there and in South Africa before emigrating to Canada in 1970. His doctorate research was directed at structural and geochemical analysis of complexly folded suites of rocks analogous to those of the Zambian Copperbelt. He has worked for several major world mining companies, managing exploration activities, developing mines and managing operating mines.

Raised in England, Graham Wilson is a geologist and mineralogist with diverse interests, including metallic and non- metallic mineral deposits, regional geology, database development, and mineralogical applications to meteorites and archaeological materials. His doctoral thesis (completed December 1980) concerns the geochemistry of lithium in the granites of southwest England. Subsequent work has however been oriented more to heavier elements, and heavier rocks, as foreshadowed by an undergraduate thesis on mafic intrusions of the Tertiary Volcanic District in northwest Scotland.

Since 1985, he has operated a consulting firm, Turnstone Geological Services Limited, working on six continents and producing more than 400 geological and mineralogical reports for clients in business, academia and government. In an age of increased specialization, he is proud to have broad experience, including prospecting, mine-scale and regional exploration; academic duties and applied research; lectures for technical and public audiences; and charitable work. He was affiliated with the University of Toronto, 1981-2004, for most of this time in the capacity of part-time Research Associate at the IsoTrace Laboratory, specializing in mineral analysis, especially of the precious metals (gold, silver and the platinum group elements, PGE), using various microprobe techniques on polished mounts of ore minerals, meteorites and archaeological materials, editing reports, and maintaining a web site.
